Literature Text

Since ever I lost you,
  I've gained a gratitude.
A love.

Now, as every day passes, more comes with what I love.
A tree, tall and boney, yet the fullest of life is a place for my love.
The tree's mother is bound for me, for feathered ink of the Hawk and Eagle's child.
The Blue Jay howls notes of my ballad to the mother, sweet to the end of his tip.

So full of my Queen's glorious love am I, that almost no longer can the Jay sing.
I shall sing for him, then.
I will sing wonder and praise to the moon for my girl. My Goddess, My Beauty, My love.
I'm still guessing at the categories. Ugh.
I'm practicing for a Poetry contest, and I thought I might post this for Critique.
So, what do you guys (and gals) think?

EDIT: Woah, huge news! This is to eventually be published!
